Day at the Capitol

Join CalSPAC as we commemorate the passage of our sponsored Senate Bill 848 with an enriching day of speakers, activities, and a luncheon celebrating the impact of our California Junior Leagues.

Registration is about to open for CalSPAC’s Day at the Capitol 2024 event on Monday May 6th in Sacramento, taking place from 9am to 3pm. Join us as we commemorate the recent passage of our sponsored Senate Bill 848 with an enriching day of speakers and activities, celebrating the collective impact of our California Junior Leagues. Attendance is open to all statewide active and sustaining Junior League members.

Day at the Capitol 2023

2023 was the first year that CalSPAC was able to hold our Day at the Capitol event post-pandemic. Our morning programming and luncheon was held at the Hyatt Regency Capitol View Room. We had an inspiring and educational roster of speakers, including

CalSPAC was also honored to present our Legislator of the Year Award to Senator Dave Cortese for his championing of the needs of transitional age foster youth at the Santa Clara County and California state level.

We were also grateful to be presented with an Assembly Resolution, sponsored by Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes, in honor of the commemoration of CalSPAC's 50th anniversary and the work of Junior Leagues in communities around the state of California.
